IEEE PEDG 2026 Student Travel Grant Application Announcement
The IEEE Power Electronics Society’s Sustainable Energy Systems Committee (TC5) is pleased to offer Travel Grants for graduate and undergraduate students attending IEEE PEDG 2026 in Valparaiso/Vina del Mar from June 21st to June 24th, 2026. This initiative, supported by IEEE PELS TC5, aims to subsidize travel costs for students (up to USD$500 for students traveling from Chile and up to USD$1000 for students from abroad, with a total of USD$10.000 to be granted).
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for this program, the applicant must:
- Must be an IEEE PELS Student Member (undergraduate or graduate).
- Must be enrolled in a power electronics-related program at an accredited institution.
- Must be an author or co-author of a paper accepted for presentation at PEDG 2026.
- Must provide a valid registration fee receipt.
- Must be traveling from outside Valparaiso/Vina del Mar.
Application Process:

- Application deadline: June 15, 2026.
- Notification of award: Selected students will be notified by June 16th, 2026.
- Successful applicants will be required to provide valid proof of IEEE PELS Student Membership and a university certificate confirming enrollment in a power electronics-related program.
Disbursement of Funds:
A check or transfer of USD$500 or USD$1000 will be issued to the awardees either during the conference or post-conference based on the geographic origin of the travel.
